About the Author

Sally Tallant is a curator. Prior to now Director of the Liverpool Biennial, she is currently Director of Queen’s Museum in New York City. From 2001-11, Tallant used to be Head of Programmes at the Serpentine Gallery, London where she used to be chargeable for a broad range of exhibitions, architecture, education and public programmes. She is a Board Member of the International Biennial Association and a member of the London Regional Council for Arts Council England. In 2018 she used to be awarded an OBE for products and services to the arts in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
